We want to say thank you to those that have written us letters of thanks. It is nice to hear postive things about what we are trying to do for others. As well as know that what we have done has helped.
Hi Frank,
Thanks for your interest in Inheritance of Hope.
Our mission is to improve well-being for young families who have a parent with a life-threatening illness. We coordinate and host Legacy Retreats for families across the U.S. with children under 18 who have a parent with a life-threatening illness. Through generous partners including Six Flags, our Retreats are provided at absolutely no cost to participating families. These families’ entire lives become consumed by the illness, leaving them without the resources to plan or pay for meaningful family time. Inheritance of Hope’s vision is that “Every Family Deserves a Legacy.”®
The goals of a Legacy Retreat are to create lifelong memories for the whole family and to form a community of support among people who find comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their struggles.
In addition to Legacy Retreats, Inheritance of Hope offers a Legacy Scholarship to a college-bound high school senior who is living with a terminally ill parent.
Frank, I applaud you on the work you are doing with helpresources.net. What a great resource! Inheritance of Hope would be honored to be listed among your resources and would welcome the opportunity to reach out to a wider audience. On a personal note, I appreciate your tagline: "Out of tragedy, comes triumph." My wife and I started Inheritance of Hope to help families like ours after my Kristen was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer at the age of 30, when our children were just 4, 2, and 6 months old. Remarkably, Kristen is still hanging tough more than 6 years later. Without our personal "tragedy," Inheritance of Hope would never have existed.
All the best,
Deric Milligan

Dear Frank-
Thank you for adding FreeMedPrograms.com to your list of resources. It is refreshing to find someone like you, who is willing to do what is in your power, to publicize ways to aid those who could use a little help. I will refer people to your website whenever possible. I look forward to a day when websites like ours will no longer be necessary. Until then, keep up the great work!

I am very proud of you for the work you are doing with your website. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Jamie H.
