senior health issuesGetting older isn't easy.

This area is still under construction, in fact there is a lot more resources to come. We will also be launching a city and state specific search area, so you can find local resources.

If you have a resource you would like to submit for the area you were looking at, SUBMIT IT HERE.

With such great advances in medicine, our life expectancies have lengthened dramatically over the past 100 years. And will continue to do so, as we are able to wipe out more and more of the pervasive medical conditions that limit our life spans.

For now, there will come a day where each and every one of us will need some help. Our ability to be mobile and independent will be restricted greatly. And we will rely more and more upon others to help us. And those that care for their elderly loved ones bear a great burden many times. And are true unsung hero's, because they devote so much of their lives in the selfless caring of their loved ones.

So we are trying to help by providing resources for all things concerning the elderly. Sometimes that is just as simple as giving the care givers a place to chat. Other times, that elderly person may be on their own and scared. Knowing that they are declining in one fashion or another, and they don't know where to turn. And are afraid that the last semblance of independence may be slipping away from them.

Coming together, we can make a difference.

When people come together with one common purpose in mind, they can make anything happen. It is with this stubborn philosophy that we as a people have overcome some of the hardest obstacles that have been put in our path.

The time is now, for us to take stock in our lives, and determine if we are doing what is within our power and control, to help those out around us that are having it much tougher.

Each day, our goal should be to have helped one person. No matter how minute the effort, or how grand. We should strive to help one person in some way, to better their lives. And many times its as simple as showing that you care, and might have an insight into what they are going thru and can share in their tribulations and pain.
